Mary Ellen Baldwin, CFP®

Principal Financial Planner

 

Mary Ellen Baldwin, CFP graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1979 and immediately joined Harris Semiconductor where she held positions ranging from market analyst to marketing manager. She earned her MBA from Florida Institute of Technology in 1983. In 1988 she completed the College for Financial Planning Education Program. She served as administrator of a medical clinic in Melbourne from 1991 to 1994. In 1994 she began focusing exclusively on personal financial planning and is currently practicing as a comprehensive, fee-only, Certified Financial Planner in Melbourne, Florida.

 

As a proud member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), she completes at least 30 hours of continuing education each year. Most of these credit hours are earned through NAPFA conferences or through the local Estate Planning Council. Mary E. Baldwin, CFP®, Professional Association is a Registered Investment Advisor and is regulated by the State of Florida.

 

Mary is currently serving on the board of the Florida Institute of Technology Women’s Business Center and the Brevard County Estate Planning Council. In the past she has served on the Board of Directors of the Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Foundation, Children’s Home Society of Florida and South Brevard Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. She has been a member of the Eau Gallie Yacht Club since 1983 and has served on several committees including Chairman of the Women’s Advisory Council. Her hobbies include bicycling, kayaking, roller blading, downhill skiing, and scuba diving.

Bob Weidert, CFP®

Associate Financial Planner

 

Bob Weidert graduated from Villanova University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and from the University of Miami in 1974 with a Master of Business Administration. In 1975, after working for one year in corporate accounting, he pursued a commission in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served for 28 years. In the Marines, he was a financial management officer and served in various budget and comptroller billets. Bob achieved the Certified Defense Financial Manager and Certified Government Financial Manager designations while on active duty. He also was a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers. After his last assignment in the Washington DC area in 2004, Bob retired and relocated to Melbourne, Florida.

 

In 2007, Bob began an educational program with Florida State University to satisfy the educational requirements to become a Certified Financial Planner. He passed the CFP® examination in March 2009, and earned the CFP designation in February, 2014. Bob has been with Baldwin & Associates since December, 2010. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

 

Bob’s hobbies include reading, exercising, and volunteering in the local community.

Carl Larimore, AFC®

Associate Financial Planner

 

Carl Larimore, a native of West Texas, graduated with honors from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 2013. Carl passed the CFP® examination in July of 2013 and is working towards fulfilling the experience requirements for the certification. Carl also holds a Graduate Certificate in Charitable Financial Planning, earned in 2012. He has been involved in many community outreach programs such as VITA Free Tax Preparation as well as Red to Black® Financial Counseling. Carl currently holds the Accredited Financial Counselor® certification.

 

In June of 2013 Carl moved to the beautiful town of Melbourne, Florida so that he could begin his career with Baldwin and Associates. He is excited to be the newest member of the Baldwin and Associates team. Currently, he is a member of Financial Planning Association (FPA) and an alumni member of the International Business Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi.

 

Carl is a sports fan and his hobbies include camping, water sports, music, and carpentry.

Zee Tenewitz

Accounting

 

Zee Tenewitz graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. While working at Harris Corporation she pursued graduate studies in accounting at the University of Central Florida. After passing the CPA exam in 1989 she worked in public accounting at a local firm. Since 2005 Zee has worked part time at Baldwin and Associates as an Administrative Assistant.

 

Zee enjoys running, has done triathlons and half marathons, kayaking, cooking and attending her children’s sports games.

Jody Jacobs

Director of Operations

 

Jody Jacobs graduated from Southwestern College of Business in the Computerized Accounting Program in 1990. Immediately after graduating she started worked for Saalfeld Paper, a division of International Paper. She worked from 1990 to 1997 in their Accounts Receivable Department.

 

From 1992 through 1997 Jody served in numerous roles in the Buckeye Trails Girl Scout Council such as Troop Leader, Annual Giving Coordinator, and Service Unit Manager.

 

In 1997 she returned to Melbourne, Florida. She worked for Fiberglass Florida as Office Manager for 8 years. In 2005 she started working for Designers West Interiors in the Lead Accounting position. In 2009 Jody started an event business with a partner called Less Stress Events. In 2009, she also began working for Mary Baldwin part-time and eventually became full-time in 2011.

 

Jody’s hobbies include camping and organizing activities for family & friends.
